It boggles my mind that anyone ever thought a wireless camera was a good idea for physical security.

I've run across too many people that are in the security field, that have no concept about security or technology in general.

I've seen security cameras facing directly into the setting or rising sun. I've seen cameras that were supposed to get the face of a potential robber configured that at best it could catch a profile, and the soles of their feet as they ran away.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

Hehe, one of my previous employers thought it was a good idea too, you can imagine the fun I had showing him how fast I could DoS a test camera off the network using an early version of mdk2.
