Default Backtrack 4 in virtual box

I am trying to run bt4 on my dell inspiron 1545 and I bridged the connection between vb and my laptops wireless so I would have internet on it. But when I type in airmon-ng it is black for the chipset and all that what do I need to do to get it working?

    Thanks in advanced

The HowTo forum is NOT for asking questions. Read the forum descriptions before posting please.

A bridged connection with a wireless device from your host system won't act as a wireless device in a guest system, it will act like a wired network device.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.
