Someone has previously asked you this, but which particular model do you use to
get this to work with the software? ( As I never saw it answered ;( )

And which particular Models of Bluetooth devices works with this software as well?

I think there should be some entries in the HCL List on the BackTrack Wiki
that will list the KNOWN working Bluetooth devices for this EXCELLENT software.

Also, I would highly recommend everyone watch the videos Drgr33n has posted, by reading his blog.

You can use a Linksys USBBT100. Either modified for an external antenna or not.
A modified one is available on EBay for about twice the retail price of an unmodified one ...

Thanks for the shout , There is no way of telling how many adapters house the Blue-Core External chipset ? Would be good to have something added to the wiki so people could add more adapter models as people find them.

i dont write much on forums and that, but i need real help now...

when i write hciconfig hci0 i get this:

when i start the hci0 it said that it was up and runnign but it was also in RAW mode... how to not get it in raw mode?

i follow ur tutorial half-way and then i had to leave me computer for a minute, so i booted it in windows again.... and the bluetooth worked fine, then i booted in backtrack and did NOTHING with the bluetooth device.... and then i booted in windows and the bluetooth wouldt work, so i checked what happend in backtrack and it said it was in raw mode... it may be knoppix cuz i run knoppix 2 but i never fu*k with bluetooth in knoppix... i dunno w00ts wrong
