Another IPW3945 problem

Hi i have a new HP dv6303TX which has a IPW3945ABG wifi card, i can't get it to go under backtrack, i have read the various info on here and not had any luck so far, the laptop has a fr kill switch and i have tried to compile the new kernel with this option but the rebuild had errors and that is way out of league.

I always get this error when loading the ipw3945 drivers..

ERROR: Could not find Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network connection..done

any info anyone else has would be great
