    Default Forum's search Engine

    I am trying to use forum's search engine (advanced search) and I couldn't search by my user name. "Nick_the_Greek". This is happening when I choose or not "exact name".

    If I try to search by a different user name like "lupin" or "pureh@te" then I get results.

    Also when I try to search from "view profile ->find all posts" I get results.

    Maybe the search engine doesn't support underscores? Don't know.

    Also when I try to type a keyword or a user name or title in a thread, the box gets black and the color of the letter are black. So, I can not see what I am typing in. This is happened when I choose "Quick Style Chooser->Backtrack".Browser IE8.

    My thought was to report it to you guys.

    I can confirm that the search functions doesn't like Nick_the_Greek as input.

    @OP
    For now you can try changing your forum style to Backtrack 1. That should help with reading whatever you're trying to type in. I had the same issues on certain text input boxes but not all of them.

    And if you want to stick with the format you know and love:
    Code:
    site:backtrack-linux.org Nick_the_Greek
    Still not underestimating the power...

    There is no such thing as bad information - There is truth in the data, so you sift it all, even the crap stuff.

    Thanks hhmatt, I am aware of that.

    My mentor Gitsnik,

    As usual, always with a tip in your pocket.
