Nvidia drivers problem
hello,
i downloaded a BT live cd one week ago, since this time i'm trying to install unsuccessfully my nvidia geforce 7300 drivers on toshiba satellite notebook, i found the latest drivers (100.14.11-pkg1.run) on nvidia website.
i have this problem:
(EE) NVIDIA(0): The NVIDIA kernel module does not appear to
(EE) NVIDIA(0): be receiving interrupts generated by the NVIDIA graphics
(EE) NVIDIA(0): device PCI:x:x:x. Please see the COMMON PROBLEMS
(EE) NVIDIA(0): section in the README for additional information.
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
[]
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining
on nvidia website there is this solution:
pci=noacpi don't use ACPI for PCI IRQ routing
pci=biosirq use PCI BIOS calls to retrieve the IRQ routing table
noapic don't use I/O APICs present in the system
acpi=off disable ACPI
i tried "startx pci=aoacpi pci=biosirq noapic acpi=off" without quotes but the problem is still here.
please anyone can help me...

Did you actually run the package file? It's supposed to be done before startx.
Code:
sh 100.14.11-pkg1.run
