Could you please provide even less information than you already have?
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

What does this have to do with BackTrack?

This thread is only going to go one way, so before it does you might want to consider this:

You've given no information in your original post that could possibly help anybody to help you out.

I'm guessing that you need to go through and configure your IP details, and point Back|Track at your default gateway. If you do then you'll find that menu option in 'K > Internet > Set IP'.

If that's not the problem then I don't know what to suggest, other than that you should think about how you normally set up and Internet connection and then read up a bit on Slax/Back|track and find out how that translates to this system.

    Good luck.....

If you can't give even basic information in your first post regarding your problem, we're not going to pull teeth to get that information.

So, how about you just run along now.

So why did you start a new thread when you have one asking the same question.

I see you didn't provide any information there either.

So I will merge the other thread

Edit: No i wont as I see the thread has already been closed before I merged them.
