Downloaded the BT5 r3 64bit gnome direct 3 times always wrong MD5 checksum made a DVD and 2 x USB tries to boot then alsorts of errors. Is there another way of downloading this as it takes 2 to 3 hours each one and then the dissappointment. Please any assistance would be much appreciated.![]()

rigicon, I have BT5 r3 64 installed in my laptop without any issues or errors, i don't think the problem with the iso to be honest otherwise would be everyone having them errors you mentioned above, if the checksum is wrong why would you burn it on a DVD or on USB first place ? it's just a waist of time, the questions is where are you downloading your backtrack from ? is it you trying to download it via direct from backtrack website or torrent ? i don't think you should have any problem if you are downloading it from backtrack website tho,
Ensure that you're not using any download managers or accelerators.
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
