I wouldn't try to install gnome3 on Backtrack since it is more likely to break it.
Greetings!
I am quite new to backtrack, but I'm trying.
And I find GNOME 3 more easy and better than GNOME 2 which comes with Backtrack R1 which I installed.
Is there anyway to install GNOME 3 and change GNOME 2 to GNOME 3? Or maybe there is a way to update GNOME 2 to GNOME 3?
Which is best solution for this?
Thank You in advance,
Daniels

Wow, you're the first person I've ever seen say they like gnome 3 over 2!
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
