Yes I removed the au2.0 folder before installing.

I had 2.0 before and this one says 2.0 as well.

yes it's normal, version num don't change

verify your installer isonly 99K before run it (old was 1.1 M)

but you won't see any diff , only size of distro and the fact there's no need for java update

some have dl a corrupted version, not your case apparently.......

They both worked perfectly for me, so no complaints from me

It is only a 1/10th of the size so that's cool , but that's not exactly a problem for me as I am using a 160GB HDD

yes , it is installed now, but it tells me, that I have no Internet connection and so i can't start the updater. But indeed I have one, otherwise i couldn't post

Nope mine works with out a hitch. I even cracked my wep and a wpa on my router this morning just to make sure every thing installed correctly. I did however do as you said and deleted the entire folder contents of the last updater and the installed the new one. Thanks again shamen

I bet the path is somehow different in unbuntu or something. Your program may just not know hot to access in unbuntu. Just a thought

Only problem I had was setting permissions (took me a minute to figure that was the problem)
