So as my title implies, i'm EXTREMELY new to Backtrack, as well as Oracle VirtualBox. For the past 3 weeks i've tried and tried to load BT5 into Virtual box with ZERO success. I've tried following the instructions on BT website for booting from a liveusb, and i don't have any CD's to boot it to/from either. In VB it won't recognize that i have a USB in my PC nor that it has BT on it. Please tell me what i'm doing wrong, and how i can install BT into Oracle VB. I've become extremely frustrated with it.

We have a VMware version of Backtrack available for download, you should be able to use that within VirtualBox just extract the archive and add it as an existing HDD in VirtualBox
