Set

Installed BT5 KDE 32 on a Dell Inspiron 1525 hard drive. I go to Backtrack/Exploitation/Social Engineering tools/Social Engineering toolkit/Set. I update it. When I go to run it again I get this error?

Has anyone run into this?

Yes I have run into this problem I reinstalled bt and never tried to update SET again I would think the best thing to do is go to their website where the social engineering tool kit is covered in great depth playing with the config files is explained which may help you in finding an answer to this problem.

I resolve this.. I got error also.. How to fix it without reinstalling bt..

Just go to /root/pentest/exploits/ and manually delete set directory

then:

cd /root/pentest/exploits/

and:

svn co http://svn.secmaniac.com/social_engineering_toolkit set/

How to delete set directory manually

This should help :
Look for :
1/ File browser then Devices
2/ File System
3/ pentest
3/ exploits
4/ set
5/ config
6/cntrl+A ,and hit delete..

then:
follow Sanjin

root@bt:svn co[url] http://svn.secmaniac.com/social_engineering_toolkit [url] set/
