have the same problem here.
i tried alot of things now. but nothing realy seems to work.
My researches are telling me that it does not make any sense to load backtrack into a VM. Because its quiet hard/impossible to use backtrack with 100%.
So i organized myself a USB Harddisk. I setup this USB drive with "LiLi USB Creator" like a CD since our Zenbook has no optical drive like CD/DVD/Blueray.
Fat32 is the actuall format for the drive. I turned the first partition into "active"
My researches tells me that the Asus Ux31a Ultrabook uses a Intel Centrino Advanced-N Advanced-N 6235 Chip for WLAN
This are the Firmware/drivers i found for this Wlan Chip
But in the end. i cant solve the problem with inserting the drivers. The file itself ends with .ucode. One of googles answers was to put this into the /lib/firmware.
But something is missing. I think i miss a command to load this into the running system. and i cant find any answers.
Missing this ?
% wget \
% tar xvf iwlwifi-1.2.25.tgz
% cd iwlwifi-1.2.25
% make install
Still looking for answers.
