Normal feature not a bug.
Hi, I'm new to the community by the way.
First, let me state that I'm not actually sure if this is a bug or normal behavior. I just installed BackTrack 4 Final to my hard drive via a USB flash drive (had no DVD's around). This was my first time booting or installing an OS from a USB flash drive, and I was surprised on how well it went. I used UNetbootin to create the filesystem on the flash drive.
So as I previously stated everything went well, except when I booted up after the install I wasn't greeted by the familiar BackTrack GRUB menu. Instead I was taken directly to the command prompt (which is cool in my book). I went and poked around /boot/grub/menu.lst and saw that the previous options had been replaced with Ubuntu 8.10 stuff (I know BackTrack is based on it).
So at this point I'm leaning toward thinking this is normal behavior, but I'd just like to make sure.
Thanks
