Hello, I am planning on putting BT (live install) on a 1gig flash drive.
My question is, when I boot from the 1gig flash drive, is there a way to make the files I save save to the harddrive? Reason is pretty obvious; I don't have much more room on the flash drive.
Or am I completely off to begin with?
Tyraeon,
I just did this.
I used Partition Magic to create a partition on my windows drive as a EXT2 partition. then in the cfg and bootinst file and it works awesome. it really does.
Balding Parrot did an amazing tut on this procedure
"forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=7844&highlight=save"
the procedure is just for one larger usb drive, but you can use the steps to do this on the usb/hdd combo too.
just letting you know it can and is being done...
