bump. Someone must know. A lot of cards out there with RaLink.
Come on, this is a pretty sick card if it works...you can add an antenna of any length to a usb wireless card.
So I stumbled upon this specimen:
http://www.hawkingtech.com/resize.ph...mage&type=jpeg
It's the "[HWUG1] Wireless-G USB Adapter with Removable Antenna," I figured this would be very useful because i have an antenna that i'm sure would fit on the sma sticking out the side. So I asked customer support for the chipset...
Ralink 257x/2671 chipset
Does anyone know if this is good for injection? cus if it is, then this is gold.
Thanks.
EDIT: I think it looks promising, I found a card on the BT wiki that has the same chipset I think:
Belkin F5D7050B
* Driver : rt73
* Chipset: Ralink 2570
Works fine on boot including packet injection.

Well I think that someone can only answer if they have one, and as nobody has answered it looks like nobody has.
You also seemed to have answered it yourself.
You said it has a Ralink 257x/2671 chipset, If it is the 257x that will use a rt73 driver then you should be golden, I have no idea if the 2671 has a driver that has the interesting modes or what driver it uses, so who knows.
From what I have seen it is not that expensive, so you don't have much to lose. If it doesn't work then you could always return it.
You could also consider the alfa usb card which IMHO is phenomenal and will give you the same antenna type of options.
Its the same chipset as the Edimax EW7318USG and yes there is a driver at //homepages.tu-darmstadt.de/~p_larbig/wlan/
that does the following:
RaLink RT73 USB Enhanced Driver
* Support for Fragmentation Attack
* Interface is called rausb0 instead of wlan0 to prevent some tools incorrectly detecting it as wlanng or hostap driver
* Injection speed can be selected with iwconfig <interface> rate command. The default speed yet is 54 MBit. You may want to lower it to 1 MBit before injection with iwconfig rausb0 rate 1M
* NEW: ToDS packets aren't dropped by the driver anymore. WPA handshake captures are finally possible!
I have one of these and over a standard PCMCIA card im getting twice the signal strength.
get the alfa one, it's a marvellous card with sma connector and 2dbi antenna included...

in a french serious shop....
54 E for the card + 7dbi omni antenna, really a best to buy..

Very interesting...great advice guys thanks.
shamanvirtuel, what chip set does that card have? Does it support all forms of injection?
it's rt73 and support all attacks with aspj 1.1.0 minimum
