Can't start BT?

I'm having a problem...when I boot from the live CD, it reads through all the information, I login, then it prompts me with a few commands to start BackTrack.

The bash command listed "startx" (or "xstart", I can't remember exactly) does not process. None of the commands listed process. I get a bash: command not found error.

Any advice?

It has been covered many times and the solution is always the same.

don't use a download manager
check the md5 of the iso
burn at the slowest speed possible. eg 4x
