DNS spoofing failing

the ip of attacker is 192.168.1.101 btr 5 R3 in virtual machine and using a usb adpter it is a D-Link g 112 i using virtual box
and ip of the target is 192.168.104 a real pc no a virtual machine and i using the opensuse 12.2 with firefox 16.1
gateway ip is 192.168.1.254
i can´t put my ettercap with make work
first i edit this file etter.dns using the gedit /usr/local/share/ettercap/etter.dns
put in the file like this type: * A 192.168.1.101
save
start the artimage chose the exploit i want use
ettercap -T -i wlan0 -q -M arp:remote /192.168.1.254/ /192.168.1.104/ -P dns_spoof
when i go to the computer it is the target not happens
where is the problem
i want work for example the target go to this website www.xpto.pt our other like hotmail iol etc..
and force to install the exploit
but i can´t make work
can someone help me to resolve the problem

sorry my usb adpater is D_link DWL G 122 version 5.0 and i using the backtrack 5 R3 32 bits
when i use the ettercap with gui i make the same thing with ettercap the console
when i put the check for poison this No poisoning at all
in console mode i have this error en i run the ettercap SSL decpetion its need a valid redir command on script
can be the problem?? our the problem can be the router my router is Thomson TG787 SIP with software version 8.4.Z.3
i try using brigth to lan and wirless and i have the same problem
how i solve the problem

i install the backtrack 5 r3 in native not in virtual machine my Notebook is a Acer Asperire 5535 and i don´t have any problem with internet connection but i can ´t make dns spoof with ethercap work
my wirelesses connection is a atheros AR5B91
say can´t poising at all
the problem can be in the router , my notebook our computer victim
