airmon-ng problem to get something -- ipwraw

Hi all,

I am using the ipw9345 card and I use ipwraw. I do make, make install_unicode then make install. I unload the ipw3945 driver then I load the ipwraw driver and everything seems fine. I get a wifi0 interface and a rtap0 interface.

But when I do airmon-ng start wifi0 or rtap0, I don't get anything. And if I try to fakeauth, it says that it failed. I suppose this is because the injection has failed.

no you don't need to use airmon-ng

these interfaces are always in monitor mode because of raw driver

try

aireplay-ng --test wifi0
aireplay-ng --test rtap0

before you need to lock on the channel of your ap
iwconfig wifi0 channel XX

you may need to lower your rate 1M
iwconfig wifi0 rate 1M

then do the aireplay-ng test
