    Exclamation Backtrack 5 r3 And Dell N5110

    hi guys i got bt5r3 finally installed on my lap dats dell n5110 problem is it has resolution showing 1024*768 max my lap has Nvidia card along side with an intel card any solution to that problem

    Is that the only OS that's gonna be on this laptop? If so your basically gonna have to go to the ubuntu forums and start digging around for linux nvidia drivers and getting them up and running.

    It is a driver issue..Need to get the latest linux driver from nvidia webpage, download it, uninstall the nouveau driver and install the nvidia driver previously downloaded.

    The intel is the video card too?...Please, be more clear on that to better help you.

    thx for ur reply guys nope i use it beside windows 7 and yea its sandy bridge processor saving power issues using an intell graphics along side with n vidia drivers
