what was the command you used?? If it was a long command, you may need to drop a few font sizes to make sure it all fits on your screen.


You don't have to use my -==- "wings"...but heres an example of your name with my commands.

export PS1="\[\e[37;1m\]\[\e[31;1m\]{\e[31;1m\]-=\e[34;1m\]GONZO\e[31;1m\]=-}\e[34;1m\] >\[\e[0m\]"




And if you don't want my wings......

Same thing I didnt change the font I only changed that line It goes back to normal with the orginal line.

Did you do the export method or did you edit your /etc/profile?? If you edited the profile, you'll need to save it and open a new shell.

I edit the /etc/profile and open a new window. Its weird that it wont work.

The I expande the terminal the more it works better:
BEFORE

AFTER

Yes I understand what your saying. If I recall correctly...you need to make your shell "full view" and or decrease the font size of your shell. Thats what I had to do.
