How to install flash 11 on Backtrack 5 R3

first of all, download the flash player 11 in the buttom here: http://www.pentest.co.kr/index.php?d...86&mid=bt5_bbs
#tar xvzf install_flash_player_11_linux.i386.tar.gz
#mv libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/


although it is i386, work well in 64bit.

i have problem. I use backtrack 5 r3 64bit I had copped file libflashplayer.so both dir /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ and dir /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/ but it's not work. It's work on google chrome. plz help thank you

I just wanted to thank you for this post! I tried installing flash through every tutorial I could find online and finally just accepted that i wouldn´t be able to use it on BackTrack. For anybody still having trouble i followed the OP's instructions thru the terminal pretty much to a tee except i ignored the cmd's about deleting and installing the icon. I also used http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/ to download firefox as per calipark's reply, and i used http://www.pentest.co.kr/index.php?d...86&mid=bt5_bbs to download flash as per linou's reply. Now my firefox is updated to the newest version and flash is working perfectly. Thanx again to the VXNUKE, calipark, and linou for the great instructions!
