Hello Everyone ,
I know This issue has been asked about Many times in the forum and forums but each solution provided only works for a specific case or sometimes they are to hard figure out for noobs like me.so i i hope you don't mind my case being Told and id hopefully get a fix here....
so my problem is ...
i have backtrack5 and windows 7 installed on my HD this all happend when I Installed Karnel Headers on backtrack5 r3(i think ) was on karnel 3.2.6 . so yeh after i rebooted after installing "karnel headers " it wont let me boot up with 3.2.6 anymore and gives me this :

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
so as i read before that it has something to do with "Grub.cfg" but nothing noob friendly to help me ..
i am currently on karnel 2.6.38 , this still works .and everything is updated looks like as i checked with "apt-get dist-upgrade" command and my files and stuff are still there ,same setting and everything . but its not 3.2.6 ...................
i took a look at Grub.cfg but had no idea what to do so i didn't mess with it so its whats inside my Grub.cfg if this would help hopefully
Thank you so much .

Grub.cfg
