airmon-ng is only enabling monitor mode.
This does not mean it can inject. So to check if it does inject do:Then if it does inject then I would like to know.Code:aireplay-ng -9 wlan0
On bt4 r2 it isnt working. Now is working, just do a:
airmon-ng start wlan0 <channel>
airmon-ng is only enabling monitor mode.

Sorry for the double post!
I tried backtrack 5 with my macbook pro which has the Broadcom BCM43xxx, and it does support injection.
First, you have to run: airmon-ng start wlan0
This will create another interface called mon0.
If you run aireplay-ng -9 mon0 it says that packet injection is working!!!
Injection is working.
But I cant set my card to channel 13. I think this is a driver problem, because I can connect from Windows 7
do u see any access point attached to the router .. i mean client and ap ??
for me am not seeing !!

I haven't got much testing in, due to getting sidetracked trying to figure out how to triple boot OS X, Windows 7, and Backtrack 5 (Not much success so far).
However, when I run airodump-ng I do see AP's. I have however ran into some issues that might shed some light on yours. First, I'm not able to capture data packets. I looked this up, and that is a known issue for the driver. Second, I get scattered info regarding whether the wireless chipset even supports promiscuous mode. I did find out that Broadcom did let their proprietary drivers become open source. So there should be an increase in better support soon.
Even though aircrack-ng suite tells me that injection is supported I think there is still some underlying issues preventing it from being fully supported.
I will do some more testing as soon as I get this triple boot issue figured out. I wanted to play with some driver updates, and see if any issues have been resolved recently.
Sorry, but it isnt working on BT4 and now is working on BT5
Edit:
Yeah, I cant get to see airodump to work properly, first of all I cant see clients only APs. Maybe a driver problem or airodump problem, I really dont know where to report this bug. Injection is working alright.

First do airodump-ng -c [insert desired chanel] mon0
then when you run aireplay-ng it will be set to the channel you set with -c in the previous command.
and yes injection works fine, i cracked my own router set to wep today seein as wpa2 would just take too long.
ridz.
follow this guide to setup triple boot: http://lifehacker.com/5531037/how-to...-camp-required
its straight forward and is working now with my triple booted macosx/win7/bt5
also check out http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...orking%5D.html
he had some success with bt5 on mac, and some other drives working. sound and internet work out of the box, download nvidia drivers from their website for linux, run lspci to see ur gpu.
Injection worked fine today with my home router set to wep encryption, cracked it with no fuss except in airodump-ng PWR=0. all else is fine. I have a macbook pro with BCM43 wifi.
