First of all, THANKS to -=Xploitz=- for amazing tutorials out there. Secondly, I LOVE this tool, maybe the best tool ever made

    I also have a question.
If I want to add a new password list to my database, what commands should I use, so I don't need to compute whole database again, only the new passwords?

    Thank you very much Neklez.

Have you read this on the aircrack-ng site? It may be what your looking for. Pay attention to what I have bolded.

    Thanks -=Xploitz=-

I followed your Video and it's very straight forward and very! easy to understand.

I first created a database of around 3Mb and 1 mb which takes about 2 minutes to create.
the cracking process ends premature in about 6 to 22 seconds depending on what pass list I export to the testdb file without finding my advanced wpa2 key (in the passlist???)

I'm creating another one which is 75mb. The Batch process has been 12 hours! I guess it's going to take some time and some HD space and no DX10 games untill it's done
which was also mentioned by swc666's on page 4 or 5 of this thread. I'm going to have to Ctrl +C soon because I want to use my computer, I predict it may take 2 days or more to create the error free database

Wouldn't it be quicker to use aircrack-ng -w (pass) psk*.cap with a 1 gig password.txt than wait for airolib-ng myDB batch to complete even a small database of 120mb?

The things I do for knowledge!!

Considering a 1 gig wordlist has approximately 64,000,000,000+ words in it....at 100 keys per second default-ly with aircrack-ng.....well you can do the math.....177 hours (roughly) or 7.3 days.

I'd wait on your 120MB wordlist if I were you.

    Talking

    Great fun times ahead.
I just installed BT2.0 to my HD I guess I'll need room for the database.
Thankfully I just bought a new Thermaltake armor case so I can keep the pc on a few days without it overheating as it's 38.c here!

In regards to balding_parrot's Modules I'm guessng there only for Live installations aren't they as there is no /bt directory and the only modules dir is in /etc/lib. I should of extracted the lzm files and burnt it then installed?
plus the error it gives is related to a live system. anyway balding_parrot manual guide seems very illustrated

If there is a spooners guide to installing modules.lzm to a full HD install that would be awesome until then I'll try the manual way, hopefully don't F&^K my install :P

Simplest way to install a module onto a HD is the following command....
    Code:
    lzm2dir sqlite-3.4.0.lzm /
Thats it! Thats all it takes to install a .lzm file onto a HDD install. (Hint** Dont forget the space and then the / in the above command.

Thanks for the compliment 127.0.0.1 E-Z is what I aimed for. I might have went a little to "technical" but I believe in order to fully understand what your doing, its best to know everything about what your doing first.

    Worked straight away.
Just in regards to the manual install of the sqlite, which is related to this topic.

I've ran into what seems to be a minor error that I'll figure out sooner or latter in regards to editing the makefile, which I believe I've done correct but the make install command is not firing up!

I have a post regarding this if anyone could share some more interest and light upon this for me besides installing BT3 and I could continue
