    Default Automatic Program Startup

Hello, I've had this problem ever since I installed BT5 when it was released.

After the desktop fully loads on startup, an instance of terminal and firefox (/opt/web/index.html) load on my screen. I always close them and continue my business but how do I prevent these two programs from loading upon startup?

    Thanks.

I would recommend you do a fresh install with the latest version of Backtrack 5R3, I am not encountering the issue you describe.
As an alternative you might want to look in rc.local to see if anything is set there to run at startup :-?
