USB Support? No Keyboard @ login screen!

Hello,
I cant use my USB keyboard at the login screen!
The USB mouse LED light "dies", but the keyboard doesn't (meaning the scroll/caps/num LED still are alight). BUT I cant type anything!
its find is bios! its find in windows! but I cant get pass the login screen! any ideas?

ive also tired it in another USB port, and also another keyboard (sorry, I only have USB!)

i'm having the same problem with keyboard connected to ps2.

there seems to be a general problem with keyboard support, be it usb or ps2.

but i'm kinda glad now to hear that (some?) usb-keyboards dont work either,
for i was just about to buy my self one.

it'd really be cool if someone figured out how to fix this.

Ok,
Ive downloaded the backtracker Windows USB installer, and booted in that way
when I do this, it freezes on:
Starting USB Support.... Has also a green start for a bulleten
in the Linux Live Scripts (which Is in white, bold)

Its fine on my laptop (haven't yet tested USB keyboard and that on it yet!)
and its fine on my other desktio (Cant get to any USB/Ps2 ports yet)


and its good to know that its just not me here!

My keyboard doesn't work either when I need to login. I have a Logitech G15 USB keyboard.

Dell, Compaq, Gateway, Microshaft USB all work fine for me.
