So I wanted to try john out so i used useradd to add a new user and then I wanted to crack the shadow file, but when I opened it with gedit I saw the new account but the password wasnt hashed, tried to reset the machine and still not hashed its just sitting there userassword instead of hashed password....
Whats the deal?
