<Ask>How to install my ATI Technologies Inc RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650]

Hello Greetings All,

I am newbie at backtrack, and this is first time I installed BT 5 R2 in my pc. I have a problem with my graphic, when I've installed it. It looks too slow. And I have read this article: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...ad.php?t=33227 for optimizing my hardware. But now, I can't do those step because, when I was downloading ATI Stream SDK built for 32-bit Linux® there's no the application for that.

My VGA is ATI Technologies Inc RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650]

Download the driver from the AMD home page: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...20x86&rev=12.4

Is for Mobility Radeon HD Series 4xxx. Once downloaded, need to unsinstall Radeon drive installed by BT5 and blacklist it.

Then install driver downloaded.
