    Default Backtrack Makes UK Linux Magazine

    Hey all,

    thought you would be interested in this Backtrack has made it in to Linux Format in the UK (UK's best selling linux mag)

    OK article but the intro ... WTF??? since when did computer security become a "dull" issue ? IMO its the most interesting part of the computing world...

    this might be a stupid comparison - BUT you don't see to many movies about database administrators these days, but hacking (however stupid it might look in movies) is atleast exciting enough to generate a few movies a year..

    At least they give backtrack the recognition it deserves Anyway we are now one step closer to world domination...........or outsizing the unbuntu forums whichever comes first...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm very glad that they didn't try to label it "Hackers Wet Dream Distro", and instead opted to make it a positive article. Its true though that in the wrong hands it can be a very dangerous distro. But then again..all the tools on BT2 can easily be "Googled" and downloaded to any other non-security orientated distro and then be used for malicious purposes.

    That would involve using the search function and that would discqualify most of the peope that visit this forum
