Is it a GSM/EVDO Card? Is it faster than a PCMCIA one?

Since the standard is supposed to be faster than PCMCIA I wonder if you can actually notice a performance boost by using that the express slot on say a NIC?

Try getting out to a client's site with your brand new fancy travel laptop (The kind where the CD rom and floppy are on cables), only to find you don't have a serial port! The one thing you absolutely have to have and you ain't got it!

The Belkin F5D8073 & F5D8071 N1 Wireless have a RT2890T RALINK chipset. Far as getting reliable information good luck, even Belkin's own site has conflicting info.

Beats me, he lives in Ohio, I live in Alaska. I'm pretty sure there isn't a noticeable difference between the two. I'm pretty sure pcmcia is faster than any cellular data rate. He had the older pcmcia card, but upgraded his dell and the new laptop only has pci-express.
