Hi people,
I have a question, when i want to connect with my wireless card to a wpa secured network, is that possible? Cause i just can't seem to connect to a wpa secured network.
Hope you guys can help me out.
I have the dell inspiron 6400 by wich i use the build in wireless card. And i use the standard wificonnect tool(s) that come with bt2. But i can't seem to connect to a wpa network.
And yes your right it has no use, i only use it to connect at home or at work to surf the web a bit, i don't wanne be bound to windows![]()
Ok, I can see this is going to be difficult...
Do you expect that we know what the built-in wireless card is for a Dell Inspiron 6400, or that we will look it up in order to answer your question? If you do, you really ought to read this link in its entirety.
The quality of the information you provide is directly proportional to the quality of the answer you'll receive. In short, crap in=crap out.

Depending if you have Atheros chipset...you can look in the tutorials section and look for my WPA / WPA2 Connect tutorials. If your device isn't ath0 based and its wlan0 eth1 etc...just edit my tutorial to fit your devices needs. Works 100% of the time. BTW all of my WPA/WPA2 connect tutorials are on the first 5 pages of the tutorial section.
