Default Dual Boot Probs - Vista/BT2

Hello everyone, I am new but am not new to message boards. I did search before posting...

A little background about myself, I know butt about Linux but given my ms dos and background, so far it seems to be cake...

So I followed the followed the instruction video along with the written transcript and it took me two time to successfully install BT2. When I completed the install i first tried to boot Vista, that booted up fine. Then I tried to boot BT2, no luck i got as far as this:

VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
Freeing unused kernel memory: 296k freed
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?
