    Boot a liveusb of backtrack
    Download gparted
    Run gparted
Delete the partition u want to remove
    Exit gparted
Install grub to /dev/sda (assuming /dev/sda is your harddrive)
    Done.

    Can anyone please help me?

Let me explain quite clearly what I am trying to achieve here. I now have no issue with booting my machine.

I used to have 4 OS in my machine..

    Win7 : Primary Partition
    BT5 R2 : Primary Partition
Ubuntu 12.04 : Extended Logical Partition
Open Suse : Extended Logical Partition

Now I have deleted Ubuntu and Open Suse and have 38GB empty space in Extended Logical Partition. Please see the pic in Post #9.

Task at hand: How to remove 38GB empty space from Extended Logical Partition and then add it to my BT5 Primary Partition? I could not do this with gparted Live CD.

Any help is appreciated as always.

I don't know if it's possible, but in theory you should shrink the front from the extended partition.
After that you should extend your bt5 partition.
I'll check with a VM and will report if it's possible.

I just tested it using a VM.

    1. backup your data
    2. boot backtrack5
    3. install gparted
    Code:
    apt-get install gparted
    4. in gparted, click on your /dev/sda4 partition(the extended partition)
    5. resize the partition from the front
    6. update grub settings
    Code:
    update-grub
    7. boot from gparted livecd - having your bt5 partition mounted blocks you from growing it within backtrack5
    8. grow backtrack5 partition

Many thanks to schizodroid for guiding me to the right direction.
I have done things here a little differently. This is what I have done:

    1. Bootup my laptop with Ubuntu 12.04 live CD
    2. Start gparted
    3. Shrink my Extended partition and apply
    4. Expand my BT partition and apply
    5. Connect to Internet in this live CD environment
    6. Following the instruction here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

Once finished restart the computer and it's all done.
    Here is my new partition:

It's all done and thanks to everyone here.
