I can get the same D-Link DWS-566 PCIe card to work - on the same PC - in Ubuntu 12.04 out of the box, but not in BT5R2.
As far as I can see, the same driver is being loaded. The kernel in BT5R2 is newer than that of Ubuntu 12.04.

I can see a list of wifi networks, but when I attempt to connect to mine, using a known-good passphrase (WPA2) I get the notorious "Connection failed: Bad password".
