buying a AWUS036H to use aircrack-ng Mac OS 10.8.2 mountain lion

I'm curently using a mac with moutain lion installed, I'm using vmware fusion for BackTrack 5

I was wondering if I need drivers for AWUS036H to work in my mac, or can I just instal the drivers in the virtual machine and it will work properly

I was hoping to use it for aircrack on BT5

Haven't bought AWUS036H yet because I wanted to know if it worked becuase there are no drivers for 64-bits for that chipset

i seriously oppose using on your mentioned model which i belive is some Alpha Adapter, because i have checked it and doesnt support injection. Its chipset is RaLink 3070.

I will recommend using any RT8187B or RT8187L chipsents, very good injections.

i have the same setup as you do, it will work out of the box & there is a way to reboot your computer with the x86 install the driver and use it just fine (its a pain in the ass but still)

Asty87 is correct. I found one at a resell shop and after buying it, I opened it up to be sure.
