Unhappy Problems Backtack 5 Persistent USB

    Hello dear helpers,

i used the following instruction: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/...Persistent_USB
Now i want to format the partitions but:
    >> root@root:~# mkfs.ext3 -b 4096 -L casper-rw /dev/sdb2
    mke2fs 1.41.11 (14-Mar-2010)
Could not stat /dev/sdb2 --- No such file or directory

The device apparently does not exist; did you specify it correctly? <<

PLEASE can any good soul help a Linux-noob to get his Persistent BT-USB

Angry Re: Problems Backtack 5 Persistent USB

To easily make a persistent BT5 usb stick apparently gives a lot of aids.

Whether one uses 'universal usb installer 1.8.9.9.' or makes does everything manually, including making own EXT3 or EXT4 partitions, BT will **** up your persistence file or partition on the very first shutdown -h 0.

    Stick with BT4 for now.
