2) strakar now its clear.i thought that you wrote in your tutorial that in wpa you can crack the password taking advantage of the hidden essid.

Hello guys,

I've a problem when running BTr2..
1)when i executed wash command which is wash -i mon0...i received this message "Found Packet with bad FCS, Skipping"... why is that happened?to get the bssid i can only use airodump-ng mon0...
2)when i run reaver -i mon0 -b (BSSID) -vv, i've got this messages "waiting for beacon.....""associated with BSSID (ESSID)"...but then, nothing happened...the process stop there...glad if someone can help me with this...FYI, im trying to crack wpa2-psk..i ran also aireplay-ng -9 mon0, to test my wifi adapter and the injection is successful...
3)the network i wish to crack has no data transfer, which is 0 when im trying to crack..
4)if my problem already have an answer, please provide me link...thanks in advance..

Johanpro - In my tutorial i cover the three types of Encryption (WEP, WPA, and OPEN (not encrypted)) Still, its no problem about your question.

Miasara666 - I never had the chance to get an error like that, anyway, are you running Airodump while running reaver?

miasara666 - for your first question try this
./walsh -i mon0 --ignore-fcs and let me know what happent please
You can also lock walsh onto your AP's channel using the -c option like you did with Reaver
Are you sure that you have enable wps on you AP?

i know how we can find a hidden essid ,how to use fragmentation and chop chop attack( for wep ),and how to use dictionary attack or reaver
(for wpa)
i asked before , because for a minite i understood that you can crack a wpa encryprion without a dictionary or reaver... just taking advantage of the hidden essid. i hope that i made it clear what i wanted to say before.

anyway , again congratulation for your tutorial..

Thank you johanpro, im glad you like. Well, in a way it is good because it makes dificult someone to get inside our network. In my network i use Hidden SSID, WPS disabled, WPA2 and with a good password.
