Arpspoof help

I can not get the arpspoof command to work i have googled my ass off i can't find anything relating to possible causes apart from not being on the same subnet.. which i am..

I am trying this from my laptop which is connected to via wireless.



arpspoof -i ath0 -t 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.17
arpspoof: couldn't arp for host 192.168.1.2


Any tid bits anyone has would be great cheers

I've been having the same problem and apparently this will fix it, but I'm having trouble compiling dsniff after I've edited the code

Cheers for the reply, same boat i gave up using dsniff and just use ettercap to arp posion now :-)
