Please help with BT5 installation. I've tried everything

1-after booting with defalt mode wait to coming up black page
and type this "startx"
2-go on continue
3-use default username and pass (un:root pass:toor)
and type "fix-spalsh" to fix ur resolution

Sry sir.. It seems your prblem mybe can be solve if you use this software to make pendrive as bootable...
Try to use Usb Universal to boot your BT5.iso...

Im just using this to make multiboot on my lenovo netbook.. and it seem no problem yet....
Im now can use Win 7 and BT52....
Just a little advise to all BT5 newbie like me..... ^^

I was just reading through all the entrys and i saw that you had installed Backtrack on a Lenovo machine. Well I have just completed a Hard disk installation of BT 5 R2 on my Thinkpad T60. I was wondering if you had any probs with installing a web cam. Also I have just been out to Lenovoś site but the auto detect will only run on internet explorer. none of the dianostic apps they have were for T60ś . any ideaś . Thank You
