Dsniff problem

Yes i do know there are many theads about this topic but they never really helped

First off. When i run

whats the problem there, it used to work fine but for some reason not any more i reinstalled and what not with no luck

And to get to the actual question...doing dsniff -i eth0 then going and doing some basic FTP logins and email logins and what not it wont sniff anything, somthing im doing wrong?

BTW im doing this all wired into my network

Ya it was working without giving me the error, but it still wouldnt capture anything

BTW:..drop dsniff and use ettercap

Somthing about ettercap and me that dont mix, the whole filters thing confuses the hell outa me

And that is the guide i had followed, but still no luck, and im trying to sniff on a wired network not wireless like in that tutorial

Not to insult you, but did you really think these tools came with no0bie step-by-step instructions?? If they did..we wouldn't need this forum now would we?? If you wanna be the best and use the best..you gotta practice, practice, practice...go through hell and back..on your own use a LOT of trial and error..........more error than trial though sometimes.

wow.. why dont you just make life easy and use ethercap?

haha and not to put anyone down but do people proof read what they type before posting it.. some of them are crazy, cant even make sense of what they are asking so you have to read it like 10 times and its like a puzzle trying to put the sentences to form better understanding..
