file2cable

Hi All,

I am trying to use file2cable on my backtrack 5 r2 machine and it is saying :”the program file2cable is currently not installed”
I can see on Ubuntu software center that it is installed and I have reinstalled it be “apt-get install irpas”.

This is the command that I am running: file2cable –I eth0 0f arp-reply (I have ran this also from /pentest/enumeration/irpas) but still that same message

Any idea?

What do you know ... it works here

root@bt:~# cd /pentest/enumeration/irpas/
root@bt:/pentest/enumeration/irpas# ./file2cable 
./file2cable [-v] -i <interface> -f <file>

Yeah, you're doing it wrong. Take a good look at what Sickness has written, the answer lies there.
