    Thanks for your interest in the issue, after some research (trying to understand) the question that ""I fail to do"" so is becoming a reality! now I have no time to do the last test described before!

    hello,
    Sorry been busy with work. Actually am trying to mount the C:\ of the physical disk because I want to
    do hash analysis for forensic purposes. This is all trial n error work in my test setup.

    Will do some experiments that zimmaro has suggested and will
    get back here. Do you people suggest any other way of doing hash analysis of
    C:\ system files on Backtrack 5 R2 VmWare ?
