Angry BT5r2 Vbox + sslstrip + RougueAP trouble

    Hi,

I installed BT5r2 in a VB ,network connection was set to Bridge.
    Host system is Vista 32bit.
I successfully got internet connection on both br5 and Vista.
My notebook is connected to the adsl-router(eth1) with dhcp(d-link 2600u) 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.255

So,when i connect to net in backtrack i have ip 192.168.1.6.
And now my question : How to set uo iptables, dhcp & etc in BR5 to use sslstrip with ettercap?
PS i was trying to use airssl.sh script ,but it didn't help. All apps are starting ,but wifi-clients (connected to RogueAP) can't get internet site download. Its saying "Wrong Server Name" (i guess in English this phrase differ, but the main idea)

    PS Sorry for my english

Many of the member-written scripts will do this for you. Have a look at PwnSTAR, quickset or easy-creds. If you read the code, you will learn the steps.

just tried Easy-creds,but still can't access internet.
Urlsnarf got GET request right, but client couldn't download page.
I think trouble in the DHCP3-server network range, but can't solve it.

or Maybe i must set DNS server address to 213.158.7.2 as seen on routers configure page. (Didn't help)
Gateway of the router is 92.100.64.1.
    If this information can help.

PS clients can open only 1 page and its blank (google.com),when DNS set to 8.8.8.8

If you run "netstat -nr" in your virtual machine you will get the gateway (which is usually the dns server on home LANs). I'm guessing it will be 192.168.1.254 for you. This is the value which should be set in dhcpd.conf.

This is a good resource: http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/w...nux_Networking

I'll be surprised if PwnSTAR doesn't work. Give it a go; if there are any problems post in http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forums/showthread.php?t=49294&page=3&p=217060&posted=1#po st217060

    Still nothing,
My gateway (routers IP) - 192.168.1.1
    Routers DHCP IP range 192.168.1.0-254
    Host system IP - 192.168.1.2
    Guest BR5r2 IP (eth1) - 192.168.1.6
    Host-Guest connect via Bridge

What else should I post to help you to help me?maybe the result of "netstat -nr"

    netstat -nr Result
    This confirms 192.168.1.1 is correct

It also shows an "autoconfiguration" or "self-assigned" address (169....). Unfortunately this confirms DHCP is failing. There are too many possible factors to consider here - time to start reading I'm afraid
