I have tried every solution I came across. Nothing worked for me.
There is one option that I also can me across on YouTube that could be the right one for me.
fix-splash
rm /root/.kde/cache-root/icon-cache.kcache
rm /root/.kde/cache-root/plasma_theme_Volatile.kcache
rm /root/.kde/cache-bt/icon-cache.kcache
rm /root/.kde/cache-bt/plasma_theme_Volatile.kcache
I get an error on the second line because I am using a live cd and the files on the cd can't be deleted.
Is there another option to do this. I am now for days busy just to get this to boot so that I can make a hard disk install.
I am using a live cd of Backtrack 5 R2 kde and an Alienware M11X R2 with a GeForce® GT 335M.
Please help if you now how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
