AWUS036H on a Dell 8600, possible?
Does anyone know if the Alfa dual USB 500mw card works on a Dell 8600?
I was tempted to pick one up but it uses 2 USB ports and I know Dell's don't have the highest power output on their USB ports, I'd hate for it to not work.
Anyone else got this combo?

Yes I have the dell 8600 and it works fine. I have never seen any differance in perfromance with any usb device between my Dell, Packard-Bell and Main PC.
It really will be no problem for you as long as your battery is fully charged or running from power adaptor.
I have 2 of these AWUS036H USB Adaptors and they work great I wouldn't use anything else unill they release a more powerfull one if they ever do.

Yes all of what you have ordered there should fit fine. I have that very 9dbi antenna plugged straight into the alfa. I have to hold it down with bluetac though as its massive and the alfa is not wieghty enouhg to anchor it down. That mag mount would obviously fix that though
