    Default Did I just deleted my whole filesystem?

    I compiled this one
    link removed

    And now everything I had, the whole / is wiped out.
    Fortunately I have a backup, but can anyone tell me what the hell just happened?

    I compiled it using
    Code:
    gcc exp.c -o exp
    and exp.c was on my desktop.

    Are you trolling us? Or did you really blindly compile code that includes:

    "F**k all script kiddies around the world. Feel free to suck my balls, all of you."

    I read that damn code of course, and those socket parts made it a little legit at last.
    But at the too late end, I saw this line
    Code:
    {
                printf("Now type nc %s 12345 to see if you've got shell there\n",argv[1]);
                close(sd);
            }
    and realized that whole code was written by some scumbag. That's what's happening
    when someone flies through a code without reading it carefully. Never again!

    I compiled it with
    Code:
    gcc exploit -o exploit.c
    Isn't that fatal? I read that
    Code:
    gcc exploit.c -o exploit
    is the right way.

    People wrote on other forums, that they lost their / this way, too.

    ... I cannot believe you would compile something on the simple issue that it LOOKED legit.

    What are you doing posting in the expert section? I really hate to troll but you are really asking for it.
