You must use marks, character numbers, or line numbers to preserve a position across buffer modifications.
You can apply tags and insert marks without invalidating your iterators,
but any mutation that affects 'indexable' buffer contents (contents that can be referred to by character offset)
    will invalidate all outstanding iterators

    Hi, here is your solution.

    #apt-get install synaptic

    Then

    #apt-get install gdebi

Then open synaptic and delete ettercap ( all of it, select complete removal ).

Then download and install the following :

    https://launchpad.net/~timothy-redae...izzt1_i386.deb
    https://launchpad.net/~timothy-redae...izzt1_i386.deb

You should be good to go !

    After installing those two packages

    This might help someone else:

I also had to copy ettercap from /usr/sbin to /usr/local/bin/:

    cp /usr/sbin/ettercap /usr/local/bin
    Cheers!
