i'll keep this simple:

using netgear WNA1100 usb wifi adapter on a macbook pro. there is no driver for OSX for this adapter, so OSX doesn't even recognize it. when i boot my mac into backtrack 5 r2 standalone, it works with the WNA1100 just fine, injection and all. When I boot backtrack in virtualbox in OSX, it recognizes the WNA1100 when I do lsusb, but not when i do ifconfig or iwconfig. "airdriver-ng detect" also shows the WNA1100.

(by "standalone" I mean it's installed on it's own partition, running by itself by selecting it when my mac boots up. better word for this...?)

can i get backtrack to use the usb wifi adapter when running in virtualbox, or am i stuck running it standalone?
